Scrum methodology for Web Apps development

Scrum methodology is a very effective teamworking methodology, which aims to obtain results in a more efficient way in mobile and web application programming.

It results in interconnected, flexible modules that make up the final product, where constant communication with the customer is essential in order to obtain the best quality in the end result.

This working methodology is used by Imaginanet for all projects using HTML5, e-commerce, social networks, mobile apps or tablets, where the customer is fully involved from the start to ensure their satisfaction with the final product.

  1. Open requisites

It is normal for customers to have an idea about the final product but not to know how to get there. Even having done a really good initial analysis, we understand that during the deployment process plans can change, giving a different focus to the project, or new ideas can complement the initial concept. This methodology allows Imaginanet to adapt to the customer throughout the process, as the customer actively participates in the project from the beginning, and we constantly assess their level of satisfaction. .

  2. Collaborative work

Each project is assigned to a project supervisor and to some developers, each of whom is in charge of specific tasks. The project supervisor will be in charge of constantly being in contact with the customer. He or she will gather all the requisites and will plan the job, assigning each module to a developer.

  3. Modular deliveries

The project to be delivered is be broken down into different modules which are then delivered at planned intervals over a number of weeks. Deadlines are attached to these deliveries in order to guarantee on-time delivery of the project. The project development will be partially visible to the customer during its deployment to enable them to make requests and adjustments during the development process. .

  4. Iterations

Depending on the project size, weekly, fortnightly or monthly iterations will be planned in which the milestones will be reviewed, a new plan released and the process is then repeated. The iterations will be repeated until the end of the project. .

  5. How does Imaginanet deploy the project with Scrum?

Each project is completely different – in some cases the customer follows the progress of each stage of the the project very closely, whereas in others they are much more “hands off” during the deployment stage, and simply wait for the final result. Whatever the scenario, we apply SCRUM’s agile methodology of programming, which enables us to adapt to any kind of project and customer. .
